Account and data deletion
Delete your TankForge account in the game or request deletion by email. Cloud-career saves are deleted with the account; local copies require a separate device-storage action.
Delete your TankForge account
These steps apply to Google Play 0.22.0 (build 58), earlier account-enabled builds and account previews. Open ACCOUNT, sign out and sign in again, open MANAGE ACCOUNT / DELETE, type DELETE in the confirmation field, then choose DELETE ACCOUNT PERMANENTLY. The game requires a recent sign-in to protect your account.
This revokes your sessions and permanently removes your TankForge online identity, cloud career and associated server records. It does not delete your Google account or erase local saves and conflict backups on your phones. Clear app storage on each device to remove those copies. Signing out alone does not delete your account or cloud career.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@daveonduty.co.uk from your registered address with the subject “Delete my TankForge account”. We will verify account ownership before acting. Do not send a password or verification code. If you cannot access your registered email, contact us to discuss verification.
Delete local game data
On Android, open Settings → Apps → TankForge → Storage, then choose Clear storage or Clear data. You can also uninstall TankForge.
This removes local careers, records, custom maps, settings and conflict backups. Unsynced progress cannot be restored. In 0.22, an existing cloud career can be downloaded again after signing in unless you also delete the account. Version 0.20 and offline build 51 have no cloud-career copy.
Direct-IP multiplayer
DoD does not run a multiplayer relay or match-history server for the current direct-IP feature. Session traffic is exchanged between the participating devices and is not retained by DoD after the connection ends.
Older offline Google Play build 51
TankForge 0.19.10 (build 51) has no online account service. If you only used that build, clearing local data is sufficient; there is no TankForge account created by that build to delete. This does not describe the current 0.22.0 account-and-cloud release.
Support email
If you emailed TankForge support and want that correspondence deleted, write from the same address to support@daveonduty.co.uk. We may retain information where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Account deletion removes live account and cloud-career records. Provider backups and security logs may follow separate retention schedules. Contact support for details about your request.
